Haven't been on this in a few but things go wrong in the real world. I wish when I was younger I had become a plumber, Then again I hate lumps in water and weird smells so that explains why I am NOT a plumber. I live in a house that was built by either a drunk architect or a contractor's crew that was extremely not feeling any pain or a combination of the two. There isn't a plumb or square room in the whole house. To top it off it was built at the end of Korean war however the price was perfect less then 25k with a mortgage of 250 which has been paid off for a very long time. It's old and decrepit but it is home and the plumbing needs a lot of work. So being a person that can work long and hard hours I've been doing agency work in order to acquire 3500 to fix the issue. I haven't worked on the house in awhile, since I've been working on the real house since I last chatted with you.
The first disaster was I had a clog and did the liquid plumber thing which the clog laughed at called the plumber which discovered I needed the septic tank pumped. Which was done for a sane price. Next thing that went wrong was the clog came back called the plumber discovered about 4 galleons of grease clogging the pipe to the septic as well as hair. So again got a clean out and things did well for a little while then Sunday the flood. Called the plumber he called the underground person and together the shot a video of what is wrong with my pipe. Aside from them being a combination of PVC, Iron, Copper and other assorted items one of the pipes has decided in it's infinite wisdom to disconnect from the other and drop out for a little while. Or as my partner said it's taking a vacation. Who knew pipes needed a vacation?!
So figuring that life is sane and I can get the work done for a reasonable price I asked the gentlemen in question what would it cost to put a working sleeve on the bad pipe which is the only piece of pipe that is encased in concrete in the entire system. After the revived me from plumber shock and told me that work must be done and paid for as soon as the work is done. I'm doing agency work for the next few so I can come up with the money to get the work done. It's been interesting to date. I've bee lucky with a friend that runs a hotel/motel so can shower there and cook there as well I do sleep at home but the water situation is a little weird but it's working out. So no work on the dollhouse for the duration of the over work period which should end in about 10 more shifts. I am more then half way there now thankfully.
I really need to start thinking of one or two things. One remodel or two move. Moving is a nice thought but then there is a mortgage to be paid. Staying and renovating isn't that bad a deal to tell the truth so I'll flip a coin to see which it is. Besides I really hate moving which is why I have a house in the first place!
